Sys32+

Sys32+Sys32+ is my extrapolation of System (Varianta) 32's 32mm multiple (32m) + panel thickness (PT) box heights. The only possible route to modular 32mm system cabinets is half overlay or railed inset faces and shared panel construction. This is the ultimate 32mm system in that the centerline of all carcase components is a multiple of 32mm apart. All carcase componets are either 32m + PT (long/exterior) or 32m - PT (short/interior) long. Panels have balanced start holes and can have system (SAC) or shifted face registration. An extension of railed inset is full inset which uses 32m + 2*PT + g carcase heights and standard (32m - g) overlay face heights (railed inset widths).

I want to use this system with 18 mm plywood board. Is it possible to have a front division (with a 3 mm gap) where you only have 2 drawer heights (half and quarter) so that you have have these options: 1 half 2 quarters, 2 half, Or 4 quarters.

Maybe its just too long since was taught math… but is it correct you you always will need more than two drawer front heights?

Only a fraction of possible panel heights are multiples of 32mm that can be evenly divided by two and four, see the 32mm Increments page. There's a Sys32+ (half overlay/railed inset) chart near the bottom of that page, e.g. multiples of 20 and 24 work and could be used to make 31 and 36" tall cabinets (panel + 1.5 counter and 3.5 toe kick).
